The booldata blog is where we share what we are learning in the field: company news, practical takes on Microsoft innovations, Fabric delivery patterns, events we attend and the wider topics that help teams speed up decisions. If you work with data, analytics or platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI or Databricks, this is the place we document the journey with you.
Company news
We will use this space for milestones that matter to our partners and clients: new capabilities we bring to market, partnerships that extend what we can deliver together and updates from the booldata team. The goal is transparency - short, factual posts that keep you oriented on where we are heading, not press-release noise.
When something affects how we work with you - a new practice area, a certification milestone or a team change worth knowing about - you will find it here first.
Our take on Microsoft innovations
Microsoft moves quickly. Fabric, Copilot, Power BI, Real-Time Intelligence and the rest of the data platform evolve every quarter, and the gap between announcement and something your team can actually use is where most organisations stall.
On this blog we share our reading of those releases: what is ready for production, what needs a phased rollout and what it means for teams that already run on Microsoft licensing. We also cover how Databricks fits alongside that stack - lakehouse engineering, Spark workloads and hybrid architectures where both ecosystems coexist.
Fabric products and services
A large share of our work sits on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. Here we document how we design and deliver on that stack: patterns we reuse across engagements, lessons from migrations and the trade-offs we see when teams move from spreadsheets or fragmented BI to a governed platform.
That maps directly to what we offer day to day - Business Intelligence as a Service for ongoing analytics partnership, turnkey analytics projects when you need a defined outcome on a timeline, training to lift your team’s capability, and structured programmes to move from Excel into Power BI when desktop reporting is still where your team starts.
Events
We show up where our clients and peers gather - industry conferences, Microsoft community events and sector forums where data and operations leaders compare notes. When we exhibit or speak, we will post ahead of time so you can plan a visit and afterwards so you can catch what we demonstrated if you could not make the trip.
And more
Not everything fits a neat category. Expect posts on data governance, semantic models and ontologies, industry-specific analytics (life sciences, manufacturing, services) and occasional guest perspectives from partners and clients who want to share what worked in their environment.
If there is a topic you would like us to cover - or a question you are wrestling with on Fabric, Power BI, Databricks or analytics strategy - get in touch. We would rather write about what helps you decide than fill a calendar with content for its own sake.
